Polygood® is made by The Good Plastic Company, a global manufacturer on a mission to provide a completely innovative material for construction and interior design that never existed at such a scale, until now.

Polygood® is a sustainable surface material used to create visually stunning interior and exterior design elements for large-scale architecture and design projects around the world.

The innovative product is made from 100% recycled polystyrene plastic (PS), which is 100% recyclable, transformed into large-format panels that mimic marble, terrazzo, traditional surface materials, and more — yet it breaks with tradition by being a truly circular material that closes the waste loop:

  • Recycled plastic is the only raw material: no virgin materials used

  • Produced with green energy and zero water

  • Recycled again at the end of its lifespan to make new panels

  • Has a low-carbon footprint compared to similar surface materials on the market

Its circular manufacturing process and closed-loop model has earned Polygood® the esteemed Cradle to Cradle® certification and an Environmental Product Declaration, along with VOC + ratings for health and safety. These underscore this innovative material’s compliance with BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) systems for rating the environmental performance of a building's sustainability and environmental impact throughout its lifecycle, from design and construction to operation and maintenance — projects earn points under these systems when using Polygood®.
